The EC90 ALX wheels offer an aero advantage to gravel riders in the pursuit of speed. 

Aerodynamics are of growing importance in gravel – riders are battling headwinds, washboard roads, and 10-hour+ days in the saddle. We set out to design an aerodynamic wheelset that struck a precise balance between rim depth and ride quality, with the goal of elevating gravel speed and experience. The EC90 ALX wheelset answers the aero needs of gravel riders.

We carefully selected a 36mm rim depth to yield a clear aerodynamic benefit over shallower rims, while avoiding drawbacks of added weight, rougher ride quality, and crosswind-fueled instability. Paired with a 24mm internal rim width, we created a rim shape optimized for aerodynamic advantage using gravel tires. Sapim cx-ray bladed spokes lace these rims to our durable and quick-engaging Easton vault hubs. These wheels are light, comfortable, fast and protected by our lifetime warranty.
